    Entry Rules:

A

      Age Requirements:

1. Age of participants in Marathon should be within 20-65 (Birth of Mar 28th , 1945 up to Mar 28th, 1990)

2. Age of participants in half Marathon should be within 16-65 (Birth of Mar 28th , 1945 up to Mar 28th , 1994)

3. Age of participants in mini Marathon should be over 10 (Birth before Mar 28th , 2000)

 B Health Requirements:

 Marathon is not only a high strength sports, but also a high risk competition, which requests participants in a good health condition. All participants shall be physically healthy and often conducting running practice. Participant is advised to register in one of full marathon, half marathon and mini marathon upon his/her own physical condition and training status.

 

     People who fall into the following categories are NOT advised to participate:

1. Those with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease

2. Those with hypertension and cerebrovascular disease

3. Those with myocarditis and other heart disease 

4. Those had serious coronary artery disease and serious arrhythmia

5. Diabetics with blood sugar of overtop or overlow

6. Others who are not suitable for sport

 Participants should take any responsibility of the accidents and losses that might occur in competition due to personal health condition and other causes. Participants are advised to have a health examination in registered hospital before race. 　

　

C Registration:

1. Both individual and team registration are accepted. All entrants are required to fill in the Entry Form and enclose a copy of ID card. Team registration can be made through organization including provincial or municipal governments, schools, troops, enterprises, clubs and associations, and is requested to fill in the Entry Form for Team Registration with the official seals of the organization and attaching individual Entry Forms of the team members. The Entry Form of both individual and team registration may be downloaded from Zhengkai International Marathon official website, and also can be obtained at appointed registration sites. 

2. Athletes who registered at China Athletics Association are free of charge to participate in professional group of marathon and will be accommodated freely by Organizing Committee. They may directly contact with O.C. for registration. The result of competition will be added to Athlete’s 2009 annual points.

 D Registration Charges: There will be different arrangements for registration charges according to different time period. Registration charge will NOT be returned once it effects.  

1、For those who register from Jan 4th , 2010 to Feb 10th, 2010

   （1） Registration Charges: 

                 Marathon: RMB 60 per person

                 Half Marathon: RMB 50 per person

                 Mini Marathon: RMB 40 per person

   （2）For students who register Mini Marathon: RMB 30 per person (Only college students or those under 16 -year-old with legal student's pass can apply)

2、 For those who register from Feb 11th ,2010 to Mar 5th, 2010: RMB 100 per person.

    The entry number limit is 20000. O.C. reserves the right to determine the acceptance of registration according to actual situation.

  F Rules: 

a)  The events are conducted in accordance with latest Rules and Regulations for Track & Field certified by Chinese Athletics Association.

b) Athletes who registered at China Athletics Association must be with Registration Card to participate. 

c) Checking-up at a unified time according to event projects respectively.

d) Running sequence: Players will array in the order of marathon, half marathon and mini marathon. The start point of each marathon has 50 meters distance between. Professional athletes go first and other participants follow behind.

e)  Closing distance and timetable:  

     In order to ensure the safety of the participants, there will be closing time at certain parts of the track, and the traffic will be closed during the event. The traffic will resume after the closing time. Those participants who haven’t finished their required distance before the closing time should immediately quit and leave the track to avoid danger. Those participants who have quitted competition can take the shuttle bus served by Organizing Committee to the final destination freely.

f) Judges have the rights to disqualify those participants who beat the pistol or take vehicles during competition. 

g)  Doping test to partial athletes.

h)  Organizing Committee provides timing chips to all marathon participants. Chips will be distributed together with number bibs in advance. RMB 100 deposit is required for per chip per participant. Chips should be returned in the post-event area where deposits would be reimbursed. Otherwise, deposits would be kept for compensation. 

G  Awards:

A  Full Marathon

1、 Prize and Trophy

   Top six finishers in Men’s and Women’s Marathon will be issued with bonus (in USD), one trophy (to top three finishers), one medal and one set of track suit.

2  Marathon finishers within closing time will be issued with souvenirs, certificates and bath towels.

B Half Marathon 

      Top six finishers in Men’s and Women’s Half Marathon will be issued with bonus (in RMB) and one set of track suit.
